The Thermo Scientific ISQ™ 7610 is a high-performance single quadrupole gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS) system designed for high-throughput analytical testing laboratories. It delivers femtogram-level sensitivity in both Full Scan and SIM acquisition modes, making it ideal for food safety, environmental monitoring, industrial chemistry, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, and forensic toxicology applications. The system features a unique off-axis ion path that neutral particles cannot navigate, substantially reducing chemical noise and improving sensitivity. It is available with a choice of ion sources — the ExtractaBrite™ source for robust, high-matrix-tolerance operation with NeverVent™ technology, or the Advanced Electron Ionization (AEI) source for maximum ultra-sensitivity. The DynaMax™ XTEND XR triple off-axis detector provides extended lifetime and extended dynamic range, enabling analysis of low- and high-concentration compounds in a single injection. The ISQ 7610 is a fully field-upgradeable platform, scalable from base to advanced configurations to meet evolving analytical needs. It is operated and controlled using Thermo Scientific Chromeleon™ Chromatography Data System (CDS) software with SmartStatus™ instrument health monitoring.
