The Thermo Scientific TSQ Altis™ Plus is a high-sensitivity triple quadrupole (QqQ) LC-MS/MS system designed to overcome the most demanding targeted quantitation workflow challenges. Built on **Active Ion Management Plus (AIM+)** technology, it delivers attogram-to-femtogram sensitivity, greater than six orders of linear dynamic range, prototypical selectivity, and superior acquisition speeds across a broad range of molecular types in even the most complex biological, environmental, food, and pharmaceutical matrices. Key hardware innovations include **QR5 Plus segmented quadrupole mass filters** with hyperbolic surfaces, an optimized high-capacity transfer tube (HCTT), an **electrodynamic ion funnel (EDIF)** for gentle and efficient ion capture, an **Active Reaction Collision Cell II (ARC II)** with axial DC fields for ultra-fast SRM acquisition (up to 600 SRMs/second), and an enhanced dual-mode discrete-dynode electron multiplier for extended detector lifetime and six orders of dynamic range. A 5 ms polarity switching time and dwell times as low as 0.3 ms make the TSQ Altis Plus ideally suited for large-scale, multi-compound targeted quantitation with UHPLC separations. The instrument supports high-resolution SRM (H-SRM) at 0.2 Da FWHM for improved selectivity in complex matrices and integrates with **Thermo Scientific Chromeleon™ CDS** and **TraceFinder™** software for complete, regulated LC-MS/MS workflows. Optional interfaces include **FAIMS Pro Duo**, **VeriSpray PaperSpray**, and **EASY-Spray NG** ion sources. The system is compatible with the full portfolio of Thermo Scientific Vanquish UHPLC and Dionex ion chromatography (IC) inlet systems.
