**About**\\
The Distek BIOne 1250 is a high-performance, modular benchtop bioreactor control system designed for cell culture, cell-free, and microbial fermentation applications. It combines sophisticated functionality with an intuitive capacitive touchscreen interface to provide precise, reliable control over agitation, temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), and redox — ensuring optimal process conditions for even the most demanding bioprocessing requirements. The BIOne 1250 supports batch, fed-batch, and perfusion processes using either single-use or autoclavable glass bioreactors (2L, 5L, and 10L working volumes) and is also compatible with many third-party stirred tank systems via conversion kits. The controller is available in single or dual configurations and integrates seamlessly with process analytical technologies (PATs) for real-time monitoring, data-driven optimization, and scalability. It comes preloaded with the subscription-free **BIOne software** for robust process control, data trending, configurable recipes, and automation, with optional OPC for remote control via web browser, Python scripting, or SCADA.
